3.2.2 Information request or chat

When you request information or interact with us through any communication channels (chat, email, etc) we may collect your contact details (email address, name, name of your company and number of companies) and you may provide additional information. In any case, we will only use this data to solve your request. If you have requested information about our services, we will keep you informed about them, new services or products, from time to time.

3.2.3 Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

3.2.4 Job seekers registered in our talent network (www.nswnorthcoastjobs.com.au)

When you register on our website job board, we will ask you for at most:

  • a valid e-mail address
  • a password
  • Name
  • Location
  • Professional background
  • LinkedIn or other social media URL’s
  • Information provided by third parties according to your privacy settings (Profile, picture, name, last name & email address)

The processing of your personal data is based on your freely and unambiguous consent to connect you with companies of our network, so we can help you to find the right job that fits your talent, using an automated board system that permits us to work efficiently and fast.

Likewise, you will authorise if you would like your information to be public or private, that is, if you want the companies in the NSW North Coast Jobs Network to see your profile in search results and contact you about job opportunities, or if you want your profile only to be viewed by us and companies you have requested an introduction to.

We cannot create an account without the minimum mandatory information indicated on registration form.

If you use the Social Network LinkedIn in order to register, we will only access the data that you have authorised this entity to share with us and for the same purposes as if you registered directly with us. Without the minimum data required we will not be able to create a user account.

We might contact you in order to offer new job opportunities in other Companies networks suitable to your skills and profile.

4. How long will we keep your data for?

We will keep and process your data as long as you do not cancel your account (Registered users), your request has been solved or you cancel your data (information request).

5. Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. 6. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

7. Statistical processing

Additionally, we will process your data for statistical purposes that allow us to prepare reports, determine how many people visit our website, job boards and to improve our services.

8. With whom will we share your data?

Your data will not be communicated or transferred to third parties without your consent. You can choose private or public for your profile so you disclose your details by default to all portfolio companies or just to those companies you choose to share it with.

We provide personal information to our suppliers and other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. For example, we use service providers to help to store your data or maintenance of the job board, together with third party website maintenance organisations

9. Quality of the data

As a user, you must notify us of any changes or updates to the information you provide, to ensure that it is up to date and accurate. You can do this through your user area and we will diligently try to verify the authenticity of said data, reserving, if necessary and without prejudice to taking the corresponding actions, the right not to register or eliminate those users who have provided false or incomplete information. This verification does not imply in any case that we assume responsibility for any loss or damage that may arise from the misinterpretation or inaccuracy of the data provided. The user who provides it is the only one responsible.

10. Children under 16 years old

We do not process the personal data of children under 16 years of age nor do we direct our contents or information to them. If you are under 16 years of age, please do not give us personal information.
