It depends. If you are an employer and you have several accounts, we are unable to merge them. We can delete them for you and we can copy and paste the information manually for you. If you are a jobseeker you shouldn't have multiple accounts as that doesn't make any sense. But if you do have several accounts on www.nswnorthcoastjobs.com.au and you wish to merge or delete them then please send a help request by clicking here and one of your team will help you.

Employer/Recruiter/Job Poster Questions

No we cannot guarantee you will find suitable candidates on NSW North Coast Jobs. We cannot guarantee as so much of the “finding the right candidate” comes back to your expectations. We are simply a mechanism to bring jobseekers and employers together.
At NSW North Cost Jobs we are looking out for the Small to Medium business. So each business (defined by their ABN) receives 1 free job per month. This is a standard job with a 30 day expiration rate. Each free job is valid for 28 days so you cannot “save them”. If you need to post more than 1 job per month, our standard job rates are a fraction of what you would pay on the big boards, allowing you to post multiple jobs without blowing your budget.
Job boards are amazing pieces of technology, however they have amplified the problems with the industry. What we mean by that is you post a job and get 300 applications, 295 of which are probably not suitable but you still have to assess the resumes to find that five who should have applied. In those 300 applications you will find a heap of people that think “I’d love to live on the North Coast” and why wouldn’t you if you lived in Melbourne. At NSW North Coast Jobs we only have jobs from the NSW North Coast, so the applicants all come from our location. If you are looking to attract people from outside our region, we suggest you use another job board.

NSW North Coast Jobs has several benefits for both employers and candidates.
  1. As the name suggests, NSW North Coast Jobs only has jobs that are in the NSW North Coast region. That means that candidates are not distracted by advertisements from other areas. In addition to that,
  2. NSW North Coast Jobs is a free* job board for Small to Medium Businesses on the NSW North Coast.
  3. NSW North Coast Jobs automatically post ads on the NSW North Coast Jobs Facebook and Twitter pages
  4. NSW North Coast Jobs has in built technology that will identify a suitable candidate and notify you of this match. That means you no longer past your ad and wait!
*NSW North Coast Jobs provides one free job per business (ABN) per month
Not long. The ad review process is purely in place to make sure you are a real person and not a clever bot trying to access our platform. This is only done for the first two ads to keep the system clean. Hope that makes sense

Candidate/Jobseeker Questions

To be considered for any role on NSW North Coast Jobs simply submit an application. If the Hiring Manager/Recruiter is open to receiving calls they will say so in their ad.
This depends on the ad. If the Employer has opened for various means of application it will say so on the ad. Many Employers choose for all applications to run through NSW North Coast Jobs as our technology allows Employers/Recruiters to manage the large number of applications they receive. Although we ask employers to be timely in their response, unfortunately we do not and cannot control the way they work, or the speed at which they operate. In most cases if the Employer likes the look of your application they will contact you. If you have not been contacted, simply assume that you have not been successful.
Very simple, look for the green button that says Apply For The Job. Click that button and complete the details complete the application by clicking send and you are done. If your application is of interest to the person who placed the ad, you will be contacted soon. Good luck
Employers all operate on their own time frame. Some will contact you quickly and some will contact you after a longer period of time. If it has been more than two weeks since you received any information it maybe that the ad poster is busy or they have found someone else
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to make any edits to your uploaded document once you have submitted your application. However, we can upload a new updated attachment (resume/cover letter as one file) and delete the outdated version, but it’s not guaranteed the hiring team will be able to see the update if the recruitment process is already in progress.
If your background and experience is of interest to a employer or recruiter they will contact you either by phone sms or email. This is why it is critical that you make sure your contact details are correct both on your CV and your NSW North Coast Jobs profile.
Your application and those of other applications will be assed by the person running the recruitment process. If you are of interest to the person running the recruitment process you will be contacted.
